Hi, my name is Patrick Kurth. I am a designer of integrated analog/mixed signal circuits with a focus on oscillators and phase-locked loops operating at milli-meter-wave (around 60 GHz). Other research topics of interest include analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, transceiver architectures for wireless and wireline communications as well as electronic design automation (mostly layout). During the last years, I worked as a researcher at the Technical University Berlin at the chair of Prof. Friedel Gerfers. I'm currently finishing writing final papers and my PhD thesis.

Besides circuit design, I enjoy free software such as linux, vim and LaTeX (including tikz and pgfplots) and I like to work on the command-line. Open-source projects (both hobby and research-related) can be found at my Github profile.
